Hello dear friends! Yesterday we had dinner at my father’s and his wife’s place to celebrate my little brother Arvid. It’s a little while now since his real birthday but because of the circumstances right now we waited a little bit until we all felt healthy and sure that any of us didn’t have covid.
So yesterday we finally got to celebrate him! It was very delightful to sit down with good food, candles, and a fireplace that lighted up and warmed us all.

Here’s Arvid, waiting to dig into the food when I interrupted him like the irritating big sister I am 😉

I wish that we also had a fireplace at our house. It’s so calming just sit in front of the fire and just relax. It’s so calming!

Their cat Frasse was a bit curious about the dessert.

For dessert, we ate something called ”semla”. I think it’s most common in the north European countries like Sweden, Norway, Finland, and even Estonia? For those of you who don’t know what it is, it’s a kind of bun filled with almond paste and whipped cream. There are other fillings too but I think this is the most common. It’s very delicious!
Thank you all for a cozy evening!
And today…
we got to meet the cutest little puppies! A friend of mine and her mother owns a basset hound and about 7 weeks ago she got her puppies!

Here you have one special little girl, haha! She often has her tongue sticking out of her mouth. Isn’t she cute?

It was sooo hard to say goodbye to these cute little fellas, I tell you! And to know that one week from now, two of them will be on their way to their new homes. I wish them good luck and a happy life with lots of love ❤️
